Redmi 14C 4G Launch Details Leaked: MediaTek Helio Chipset and HyperOS on Board
According to a leak by tipster Sudhanshu to 91mobiles, the Redmi 14C 4G is set to launch globally by the end of August. This successor to the Redmi 13C could be your next affordable smartphone purchase.
Expected Launch Date
The leak suggests we can expect official teasers from Redmi in the coming days, hinting at a late-August launch window for the global market.

RAM, Storage, and Color Options
The Redmi 14C 4G will reportedly come in two storage configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 4GB RAM with 256GB storage. Both options will be available in classic Black and Blue colorways.
What We Know So Far
The phone was previously spotted on the IMEI database in July, revealing the marketing name (Redmi 14C 4G) and model number (2409BRN2CL). Earlier reports suggested NFC support, but this might be limited to markets outside India.
The processor remains a bit of a mystery. While leaks hint at a MediaTek Helio G81 SoC based on HyperOS source code, this seems unlikely considering the Redmi 13C 4G sported a more powerful Helio G85 chipset. The possibility of a Helio G91 Ultra SoC also exists, but confirmation is pending.
One thing's for sure: the Redmi 14C 4G will likely run Android 14 with Xiaomi's custom HyperOS 1.0 skin pre-installed. It might even be among the first devices to receive the upcoming HyperOS 2.0 update.
A 5G Variant Too?
The leak also mentions a Redmi 14C 5G spotted on the IMEI database with multiple model numbers. This suggests Redmi is prepping a 5G variant alongside the 4G model for a global launch outside China.
Looking Ahead
With official teasers expected soon, the wait for the Redmi 14C 4G shouldn't be long. Stay tuned for further updates on pricing and detailed specifications.
