Redmi 14C 5G Launching Today at 12 PM in India; Expected Price, Features & Availability

Xiaomi's sub-brand, Redmi, is all set to unveil an affordable 5G smartphone today (January 6) in India -- the Redmi 14C. The upcoming smartphone will succeed the Redmi 13C 5G, debuted back in 2023.

The latest model will have several upgrades over its predecessor. Here's everything you should know about the upcoming Redmi 14C 5G.

Redmi 14C 5G Launch and Sale Details

The Redmi 14C 5G is confirmed to launch on January 6 (today) at 12 PM IST and users can stream the launch live on the company's official YouTube channel. Following the launch, the Redmi 14C 5G will be available for purchase via mi.com, Amazon India, and Flipkart.

Redmi 14C 5G Features and Expected Pricing

The Redmi 14C 5G will have a Starlight design inspired by the beauty and power of the cosmos. In terms of specs, the smartphone will feature a 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Redmi 14C 5G is also confirmed to come with TÜV Rheinland certification and the segment's most eye-safe displays. It will be offered in three colour options namely -- Starlight Blue, Stardust Purple, and Stargaze Black.

The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. For imaging, the phone will offer a 50MP dual rear camera system. It will also pack a 5160mAh battery unit with support for 18W wired charging. The brand confirms the Redmi 14C 5G will include a free 33W in-box charger.

For connectivity, the phone will support dual 5G SIM support. Moreover, it will offer a lag-free video calling experience, smooth live streaming, fast downloads, and uninterrupted gaming. Lastly, the smartphone will feature an official IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.

As far as the price is concerned, the Redmi 14C 5G is expected to come with a price tag of MRP ₹13,999, while the selling price would be ₹10,999 or ₹11,999 for the 4GB/128GB storage model.
