REDMI 15 5G Goes on Sale in India at 12 noon Today via Amazon: Check Price and Specifications

The REDMI 15 5G is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. To recall, the REDMI 15 was unveiled in India earlier this month as an affordable 5G phone with competitive specifications. The REDMI 15 5G offers a smooth display, large 7,000 mAh battery, fast charging, reliable software, and a Snapdragon chipset. Xiaomi claims it is India's slimmest phone with this battery capacity.

The REDMI 15 5G will go on sale in India at 12 noon (IST) today via Amazon, mi.com, Xiaomi Retail stores, and offline channel partners across the country. The REDMI 15 5G is offered in Midnight Black, Frosted White, and Sandy Purple color options.

The REDMI 15 5G price in India starts from Rs 14,999 for the base 6GB/128GB model. Moreover, it also comes in an 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configuration that costs Rs 15,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively.

REDMI 15 5G Specifications

The new REDMI phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and expandable UFS 2.2 storage up to 256GB. The device features a large 6.9-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The display is certified by TUV Rheinland for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly standards to minimise eye strain.

A significant feature is its massive silicon carbon battery of 7,000 mAh capacity that supports fast charging at 33W using the included adapter. Additionally, it allows for reserve wired charging at 18W. The camera setup includes a dual AI system with a primary sensor of 50MP featuring an f/1.75 aperture alongside another unspecified sensor.

For selfies, there's an 8MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The camera system incorporates AI features such as AI Erase and AI Sky along with various filters to enhance photography experiences. The phone's design includes a plastic back panel complemented by aerospace-grade metal around the camera area.

Operating on HyperOS based on Android version 15, the REDMI 15 5G promises two years of OS updates along with four years of security patches. It also includes features like Gemini and Circle to Search for enhanced user experience.
