The Redmi 15C 5G is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. To recall, the budget phone from Redmi made its debut in India last week in India's sub-15K segment with Dimensity 6300, a massive 6000mAh battery, and a 50MP AI dual camera system. The Redmi 15C 5G starts in India at Rs 12,499 for the base 4GB/128GB model and Rs 13,999 for the 6GB/128GB model, and the top-end 8GB/128GB model will cost Rs 15,499. It comes in Dusk Purple, Moonlight Blue and Midnight Black colours. It will be available for purchase starting today at 12 PM IST via Amazon.in, Mi.com and Xiaomi retail partners.

Redmi 15C 5G: What Does It Offer?

The Redmi 15C features a 6.9-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen also supports Adaptive Sync and carries TUV Rheinland certification for reduced eye strain. It comes with Wet Touch technology 2.0, which allows you to respond accurately even if your hands are damp, oily or soapy.

The device is powered by the Dimensity 6300 chip paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which also supports additional storage expansion of up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card. The phone runs on HyperOS 2, with Xiaomi confirming the Redmi 15C will get two years of OS updates and four years of security updates.

For imaging, it opts for a 50MP dual rear camera system and an 8MP selfie camera. It carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. Moreover, the Redmi 15C packs a 6,000mAh battery with 33W turbo charging and reverse charging. The phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack.
