Redmi 15C 5G Set for India Launch on December 3: Confirmed Specs and Colors Revealed
If you’ve been waiting for a budget 5G phone with a huge display and a battery that doesn’t give up too quickly, the Redmi 15C 5G might be worth keeping an eye on. Xiaomi has already put up a dedicated microsite for it, and Amazon’s listings quietly confirm a lot of the essentials.
Most of this early information comes through Redmi’s own teasers, along with price leaks shared by tipsters online, so there’s already a fairly clear picture of what buyers can expect.

What Redmi Has Confirmed So Far
Redmi’s microsite highlights the three colorways coming to India. You’ll be able to pick the phone in Dusk Purple, Moonlight Blue, or Midnight Black. That part’s already locked in, and it’s nice to see some variety in this price range.
The company also confirmed the battery specs, and it’s a big one. The Redmi 15C 5G packs a 6,000mAh unit, which the brand says can hold up well even after long-term use. Redmi claims it should retain around 80 percent health after a thousand charge cycles, which is something many buyers will appreciate if they want a device that lasts beyond the typical two-year cycle.
Another highlight is the 6.9-inch display. It supports up to a 120Hz Adaptive Sync refresh rate, and Redmi says it comes with TUV Rheinland certification for eye comfort.
The brand also confirmed that the phone runs on MediaTek’s 6300 chipset. It won’t ship with the latest software though. According to Redmi’s own listing, it’ll run last year’s Android 15-based HyperOS 2. Still, features like Circle to Search and a set of AI tools will be available out of the box.
Pricing Leaks and Storage Options
Price details surfaced earlier through leaks shared by tipsters online. The base 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is said to cost Rs. 12,499. The 6GB and 8GB RAM versions, each with the same 128GB storage, may land at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 14,999.
While Redmi hasn’t confirmed these prices yet, the numbers seem in line with what we’ve seen from the brand in this segment. The phone will be available on Amazon and Xiaomi’s own store after the December 3 launch.
What to Expect From the Cameras
Details around the camera setup also come from earlier sightings. Publications in Poland listed the global variant with a dual rear camera system. It uses a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, along with a secondary camera that Redmi hasn’t detailed yet. On the front, the phone settles for an 8MP shooter, which should be fine for video calls and casual photos.
Those camera specs haven’t been officially confirmed for India yet, but considering the global variant follows this setup, there’s a good chance the Indian model won’t be too different.
