Redmi A4 5G with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC Set to Launch on November 20 in India; Amazon Microsite Goes Live

Xiaomi recently confirmed that the Redmi A4 5G is making its way to India sometime this month, which was first showcased at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024 in October. Now, the brand has announced the launch date for the upcoming budget-centric phone.

Redmi A4 5G India Launch Date Announced

The brand took to its official X handle (formerly Twitter) to confirm the arrival of the Redmi A4 5G in India, which will take place on November 20. In the meantime, the dedicated microsites have gone live on both the official website and Amazon, revealing the features of the handset.

Redmi A4 5G: What to Expect?

The Redmi A4 5G is confirmed to feature a 6.88-inch large display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset will have a dual-tone finish and circular rear camera module, housing 50MP dual sensors.

As noted, the Redmi A4 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC which might be paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device will also pack a 5,160mAh battery with support for fast charging. While the brand hasn't revealed the charging speed, leaks suggested that it will support 18W wired charging.

Moreover, the Redmi A4 is expected to run Android 14 with HyperOS 1.0 skin on top. Other features are likely to include an 8MP selfie camera and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

As far as the price is concerned, the upcoming Redmi A4 is confirmed to come under the Rs 10,000 segment and is aimed at India's budget 5G segment. Following the launch, it will be available for purchase via Amazon and the brand's official website.
