Redmi A7, Redmi A7 Pro Launched In India With 6.9-Inch Display, Reverse Charging Support: Check Price
Xiaomi has introduced its Redmi A7 series in India, expanding its entry-level lineup with two new models, the Redmi A7 and Redmi A7 Pro. The company is positioning these phones around reliability, larger displays, and long battery life.

Both devices are now official, with sales set to begin from April 23 across Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, and Xiaomi retail stores.
Pricing And Variants
The Redmi A7 starts at ₹10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and will be available in Black and Blue colour options.
The Redmi A7 Pro is priced at ₹11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version, with Black and Orange finishes.
Display And Design Details
The two phones differ slightly in display size. The Redmi A7 comes with a 6.88-inch display, while the A7 Pro steps up to a 6.9-inch HD+ panel. The Pro model also supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
Xiaomi has included TÜV Rheinland eye-protection certifications, along with wet-touch support to improve usability in various conditions.
Performance, Storage, And Software
Both models offer 64GB of storage paired with LPDDR4X RAM and support for virtual RAM expansion. There’s also a dedicated microSD card slot that supports expansion up to 2TB.
On the software side, Xiaomi says the experience is designed to be clean and easy to use. The Redmi A7 Pro also includes features like Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
Cameras, Battery, And Extras
The Redmi A7 series features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for everyday photography and video calls.
Battery-related features include support for 15W charging, with a charger included in the box. Both phones also support 7.5W wired reverse charging.
Other additions include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP52-rated durability, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
