Redmi K100 Series Officially Teased: Could Arrive on July 31

Redmi has officially confirmed that it will unveil its annual flagship product at ChinaJoy 2026 on July 31, strongly hinting at the debut of the much-awaited Redmi K100 series. While the company has stopped short of revealing the product name, multiple leaks and reports suggest the next-generation flagship lineup will make its first public appearance ahead of its expected launch in August.

Redmi K100 Series Teased Ahead of Expected August Launch

In a post on Chinese social media (via Gizmochina), Redmi announced that its "annual heavyweight product" will be showcased at Qualcomm Snapdragon's N5-02 exhibition booth during ChinaJoy 2026 in Shanghai.

Redmi K100 Series Could Arrive on July 31

Adding to the speculation, the teaser poster carries the phrase "Demon King Arrives", a nickname that has long been associated with Redmi's flagship K-series smartphones.

The timing also aligns with a recent certification listing of a Xiaomi smartphone bearing the model number M511CD, which supports 100W wired fast charging. The device is widely believed to be part of the Redmi K100 lineup. Reports further suggest Redmi could officially announce the launch timeline for the series during the event.

Redmi K100 Series: Expected Models

According to recent reports, the Redmi K100 lineup will include three smartphones:

  • Redmi K100
  • Redmi K100 Pro
  • Redmi K100 Pro Max

However, Redmi is tipped to launch only the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max initially, with the standard Redmi K100 expected to arrive later this year. The move could help the company better position its lineup by filling the price gap that existed between the previous Redmi K90 standard and Pro Max variants.

Redmi K100 Series: Expected Specifications

Leaks suggest the Redmi K100 series will be powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Some reports also point to a dual-chip architecture for the Pro models to enhance performance and imaging capabilities.

Other rumoured specifications include:

  • 6.8-inch 185Hz LTPO flat display
  • 200MP primary rear camera
  • 50MP periscope telephoto camera with telephoto macro support
  • 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
  • IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance
  • Symmetrical stereo speakers

The Redmi K100 Pro Max is also expected to retain its exclusive triple-speaker 2.1-channel audio system, a feature introduced on its predecessor.

Massive Battery Could Be the Biggest Upgrade

Battery capacity is shaping up to be one of the biggest highlights of the Redmi K100 series. Earlier leaks suggested batteries exceeding 8,000mAh, while newer reports claim Redmi is internally testing a massive 10,000mAh battery for the lineup. Additionally, the battery could be backed by 100W wired fast charging, while wireless fast charging up to 50W could also be supported.

On the design front, Redmi is tipped to introduce a premium metal frame, a colour-matched glass back panel, and a large horizontal camera island, following the design language seen on several recent flagship smartphones.

Poco F9 Pro, F9 Ultra Rebrand Expected

Global markets may not see the Redmi K100 branding for long. According to previous reports, the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max are expected to launch internationally as the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra, respectively. Both devices have already appeared on multiple certification platforms, suggesting their global debut may not be far behind.
