Redmi K60 Ultra specifications confirmed ahead of August 14 launch

Xiaomi is all set to announce a new smartphone in the Redmi K60 series in China. The Redmi K60 Ultra has got an official launch date in the country and will debut alongside the Mix Fold 3, Mi Pad 6 Max, and Xiaomi Band 8 Pro.

The Redmi K60 Ultra will debut as the third smartphone in the line-up, following the launch of the Redmi K60E, Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro. Xiaomi has also teased several specifications about the Redmi K60 Ultra.

The Redmi K60 Ultra launch in China will take place on August 14. Additionally, Xiaomi has also confirmed key specifications about the Redmi K60 Ultra and the numbers appear to be quite impressive.

Xiaomi took to Chinese social media website Weibo to confirm that the Redmi K60 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC with a peak clock speed of up to 3.34GHz. Moreover, the chip will be paired with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Redmi K60 Ultra will sport a 1.5K OLED display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone also features a dedicated X7 chip by Pixelworks, which is touted to deliver improved gaming, imaging, and display performance.

From the marketing material, we can also see that the Redmi K60 Ultra will feature a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor at the helm. While there is no information, we expect the other two sensors could include an ultrawide and a macro unit.
