Redmi K80 Pro Key Specifications and Design Confirmed Ahead of Launch: Here’s What We Know So Far!

Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil two new smartphones later this week. The Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro will sit under the Xiaomi 15 series, offering a value-added flagship experience.

Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi has revealed some key specifications of the Redmi K80 Pro. The Chinese smartphone maker recently took to Weibo to confirm key camera, battery, and display of the Redmi K80 Pro.

Redmi K80 Series Launch Event

The Redmi K80 series is launching in China on November 27 at 07:00 pm local time and 04:30 pm IST. The Redmi K80 Pro is offered in a black and Snow White colour option with a metal frame. It will likely be the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone to date, going head-to-head with the Realme GT 7 Pro.

Moreover, the Redmi K80 series will also feature a flat screen with a hole-punch camera cutout. While the Redmi K80 series won't be unveiled outside China, the Redmi K80 could debut as the Poco F7 in the global market. On the other hand, the Redmi K80 Pro will likely arrive as the Poco F7 Pro globally.

Redmi K80 Pro Specifications Confirmed

Xiaomi recently confirmed that the Redmi K80 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The chip is touted to deliver an overall AnTuTu score of 3194766 points. The phone will also feature a D1 gaming chip, dual-loop 3D ice cooling, and Rage Engine 4.0 to unlock 120fps gaming at 2K resolution. Xiaomi calls it, "Super Resolution and Super Frame Concurrency for All Games".

Moreover, the Redmi K80 Pro will also pack a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. This a massive update to charging and battery capacity compared to its predecessor. The Redmi K80 Pro will run Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 out of the box.

Xiaomi also confirmed the full camera specifications of the Redmi K80 Pro. The Redmi K80 Pro will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with OIS, a 32MP ultrawide lens with a 120° FOV, and a 50MP telephoto-macro unit. Up front, the Redmi K80 Pro will likely opt for a 32MP selfie camera.

The Redmi K80 Pro is also confirmed to use an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. It will come with an IP68+IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and will be protected by Xiaomi's Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0. The Redmi K80 Pro is also expected to sport a 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
