Redmi K80 Series New Leak: Expected Launch Timeline, Design, and More

The Redmi K80 series has been the talk of the town for several days and is expected to see the light soon. The lineup is likely to include three models -- the Redmi K80e, Redmi K80, and the K80 Pro.

Now, the official image has emerged online, showing the design in its full glory. In addition, the launch time has been tipped. Here's what the new leak suggests.

Redmi K80 Series Design and Launch (Expected)

The image shared by Wang Xiaoyan, Vice President of Xiaomi Group and President of Xiaomi China (courtesy tipster Smart Pikachu), reveals Redmi K80's round camera island that houses three cameras, while the predecessor K70 series has a rectangular camera module. The design is quite similar to Xiaomi's Civi series smartphones.

As far as the launch is concerned, the tipster claims that the Redmi K80 series could arrive by the end of this month. However, the brand has not shared any details regarding the upcoming Redmi K80 series as of now. It recently unveiled Xiaomi 15 in its home market. If the launch takes place in November, the brand will soon start teasing its arrival.

Redmi K80 Series: What to Expect?

Xiaomi is expected to use the Dimensity 8400, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, respectively for the K80 series. In terms of design, the Redmi K80 series is rumoured to pack a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging(the K80e), whereas the K80 and K80 Pro could ship with 120W charging tech.

Moreover, the series is likely to feature a high-resolution 2K display and offer a periscope telephoto lens, promising enhanced imaging capabilities. Other details like the display and camera sensor are still unknown at this moment. If anything comes to our notice we'll keep updated you.

Considering the Redmi K series remains limited to China over the last few years, the company is unlikely to launch the Redmi K80 series in India.
