The Redmi Note 12 4G has visited Geekbench ahead of its global launch. The database listing hints at an octa-core Snapdragon SoC, which could likely be an overclocked Snapdragon 680 chipset.
The Redmi Note 12 5G series includes the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+. All three devices have already made their debut in China and global markets including India. The upcoming Redmi Note 12 4G will come as the newest member in the Note 12 series.
Redmi Note 12 4G Geekbench Score
The Redmi Note 12 4G was spotted on the Geekbench database with model number 23028RA60L. According to the listing, we can expect the Note 12 4G to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon processor. The latest report indicates that the upcoming smartphone could feature an overclocked Snapdragon 680 SoC.
As per the Geekbench database, the Redmi Note 12 4G's processor's clock speed maxes out at 2.8GHz. The listing reveals that the SoC will be paired with an Adreno 610 GPU.
As far as the Geekbench score is concerned, the Note 12 4G managed a score of 422 points in the single-core test. Meanwhile, the smartphone bagged 1,252 points in the multi-core test.
Going by the listing, the Redmi Note 12 4G will run Android 13 out of the box. We can expect it to come with a layer of the latest MIUI 14 on top.
Redmi Note 12 4G Specifications
The Redmi Note 12 4G will reportedly feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It could sport a triple-camera array at the rear. The setup could include a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It could feature a 13MP selfie camera at the front.
As for the battery, the Redmi Note 12 4G could pack a 5,000mAh unit with 33W fast charging support. The smartphone could also get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
