Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Camera Hardware, Chipset Specs Leak: 200MP Main Lens, Dimensity 9200 Plus Reconfirmed?

Xiaomi is deep in the development of the Redmi Note 12 series successor. The top-end Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus model, in the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series pack some stellar hardware, as leaked camera and chipset specifications suggest.

Xiaomi recently launched the eagerly-awaited Redmi 12, which is not to be confused with the Redmi Note 12 series, which includes more than half a dozen Android smartphones. It is not clear if Xiaomi will offer the same number of iterations under the Redmi Note 13 series. After the schematics of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus leaked recently, other details have surfaced. Let's see if they match Xiaomi's approach to the popular and aggressively priced Android phone series.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Has 200MP Primary Camera And Dimensity 9200 Plus SoC?

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 13 series in the fourth quarter of this year. It is not clear how many Android smartphones will collectively fall under this series. However, it should include the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.

A new leak from reliable and prolific tipster Kacper Skrzypek has reconfirmed the camera and chipset specifications of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. He claims the upcoming Redmi Note smartphone will have a MediaTek chipset, which could be the same one embedded inside the Redmi K60 Ultra.

In other words, the latest leak claims the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus SoC, whose Prime Performance core can reach 3.35 GHz. The Redmi K60 Ultra managed to score 1,774,714 points in the AnTuTu benchmarks, which could be the highest score for any smartphone.

Recently leaked renders indicate the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ could Xiaomi 13-like triple rear camera module. However, the new information is that it will feature a Samsung HP3 200MP primary sensor, a Sony IMX355 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an Omnivision OV2B10 2MP macro/depth sensor.

All these sensors and lenses should make up the rear camera system. Simply put, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will have a 200MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup. There should be a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q camera, capable of shooting 1080p video on the front, for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

All the Redmi Note 13 series devices should flaunt narrow-edge, flexible OLED screens without plastic brackets. This design may help avoid the green-line issue plaguing the current generation OLED displays.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ should flaunt a 6.7-inch OLED display with a centered punch-hole. The 1.5K resolution screen could have a 120Hz refresh rate.

The upcoming Redmi Note 13 series smartphones should have 5000mAh battery packs. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ should support 120W wired fast charging.

Xiaomi has been testing its MIUI 15 OS, which could be based on the recently released Android 14 beta OS. Hence, it would be safe to assume the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones will run Android 14-based MIUI 15.
