Xiaomi is rumored to be developing the Redmi Note 13R Pro. Although it belongs to the just-launched Redmi Note 13 series, it would be sold in select markets under the POCO sub-brand. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek has claimed that Xiaomi is working on the Redmi Note 13R Pro. He added that the smartphone will be a slightly modified version of the Redmi Note 13 5G.

Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 13 series of smartphones in China this week. The series includes the entry-level Redmi Note 13 5G, the middle-level Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and the top-end Note 13 Pro+ 5G.

Some of the aforementioned smartphones, or perhaps all three of them are expected to launch outside China. Some reports suggest Xiaomi may withhold launching the Redmi Note 13 5G series until 2024.

It appears Xiaomi may launch one more Redmi Note 13 series smartphone, branded as the Redmi Note 13R Pro. Moreover, this smartphone could be the first device from the Redmi Note 13 series to launch outside China, presumably this year itself.

The latest leak claims the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro will feature a dual rear camera, headlined by a 64MP primary camera. It would be accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. This Redmi smartphone, just like the other Redmi Note 13 series devices, will have a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

The tipster mentioned the Redmi Note 13R Pro would share a lot of specifications with the entry-level Redmi Note 13 5G. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 5G features a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 108MP primary camera. Needless to add, the rest of the camera setup seems unchanged.

Xiaomi has just launched the Redmi Note 13 series, which currently includes three smartphones. The company is rumored to be readying the Redmi Note 13 Turbo edition as well.
