Redmi Note 14 Pro Leak Suggests Major Design Overhaul
The highly anticipated Redmi Note 14 series is gearing up for its official launch, expected to take place in China next month. A recent leak by TechBoilers has provided a sneak peek into the design and features of the Redmi Note 14 Pro, which could mark a significant shift in the series' aesthetics and capabilities.
A New Design Direction
One of the most notable changes in the Redmi Note 14 Pro is its redesigned camera module. Unlike the horizontally aligned cameras seen in previous models, the Note 14 Pro features an ellipse-shaped camera island positioned at the center of the back panel.

This design choice gives the device a more modern look, with the triple camera setup and LED flash neatly arranged within the module. The camera module itself appears to be slightly curved on the sides, a departure from the sharper edges of its predecessor.
The leaked renders also show that the power button and volume keys are located on the left side of the device, with the Pro model sporting a sleek black color. This design has been consistently seen across various leaks, suggesting that it may be the final look for the upcoming device.
Expected Specifications and Features
The Redmi Note 14 Pro is rumored to be equipped with a 50MP primary camera, accompanied by two additional sensors, although their specifications remain undisclosed. This camera setup could potentially offer enhanced photography capabilities, building on the reputation of previous Redmi Note models.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a significant upgrade that could deliver improved performance and efficiency.
The device is also rumored to come with a "double micro-curved" display boasting a 1.5K resolution, which would provide users with a high-quality visual experience. This display could be an AMOLED panel, offering better contrast and color accuracy compared to traditional LCD screens.
In terms of battery life, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is tipped to house a 5,000mAh battery, slightly smaller than the 5,100mAh battery found in the Redmi Note 13 Pro. However, the Pro model is expected to support faster charging, with rumors pointing to a 45W charging capability, up from the 33W in the previous generation.
Launch Timeline and Availability
The Redmi Note 14 series, including the Pro model, is anticipated to debut in China in September, following the pattern set by the Redmi Note 13 series last year. A global launch is expected to follow in November, with the series likely to include the vanilla Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and a potential Pro+ variant.
