Redmi Note 14 Pro, Note 14 Pro+ Launched with a Bold New Design and Impressive Specs: All You Need to Know

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi Note 14 series in China. The line-up includes the Redmi Note 14 and Redmi Note 14 Pro.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro models arrive with curved AMOLED displays, triple-rear camera setups, water resistance, massive batteries with fast charging support, and powerful chipsets. Here's an in-depth look at the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 14 Pro's pricing and specifications.

Redmi Note 14 Pro Series Pricing

The Redmi Note 14 Pro price in China starts from CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs 16,700) for the base 8GB/128GB model.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ price in China starts from CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs 22,650) for the base 12GB/256GB variant.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro is offered in Midnight Black, Mirror Porcelain White, Phantom Blue, and Twilight Purple shades, while the Note 14 Pro+ comes in Midnight Black, Mirror Porcelain White, and Star Sand Blue colour options. As of now, there is no word on the availability of the Redmi Note 14 Pro series outside China, although it could launch in India some time in December 2024 or January 2025.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ Specifications

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is powered by the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage (256GB model uses UFS 2.2 storage). The Note 14 Pro+ packs a massive 6,200 mAh silicon-carbon battery cell with 90W wired fast charging support. The phone also uses Xiaomi's Pascal T1 signal enhancement chip.

The Note 14 Pro+ also sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint reader. The screen sports a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The display is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Up front, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ opts for a 20MP selfie camera.

For optics, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ features a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with 1/1.55″ size and OIS support. The main camera is paired with a dated 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide lens and a new 50MP Samsung JN1 portrait-telephoto shooter. It runs Android 14 with the latest version of HyperOS on top.

Redmi Note 14 Pro Specifications

The Redmi Note 14 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Note 14 Pro also packs a standard 5,500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The display on the Redmi Note 14 Pro is the same as the Note 14 Pro+.

For optics, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G opts for a downgraded 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide shooter, and 2MP macro unit. The 20MP OmniVision OV20B is the same as the one found on the Note 14 Pro+. Additionally, the Redmi Note 14 Pro also boasts the same IP69 rating, dual speakers (Dolby Atmos), in-display fingerprint reader, and HyperOS software as the Note 14 Pro+.
