Redmi Note 14 Series Teased to Feature IP68 Rating and Improved Battery Life
The Redmi Note 14 series has been the talk of the town for several days, expected to comprise -- the standard Redmi Note 14 5G, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, and the high-end Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G.
The phones already visited multiple certification sites which gave us an idea of what to expect. Now, the brand has started teasing the features of the upcoming Note 14 series.

Redmi Note 14 Series Features Teased Officially
The latest post on Weibo shared by Redmi General Manager, Wang Teng Thomas reveals the Redmi Note models will continue to support an IP68 rating. To recall, last year's Redmi Note 13 Pro+ also features an IP68 rating, while the Note 13 Pro and Note 13 support an IP54 rating.
So it remains to be seen if the upcoming Note 14 Pro+ will only feature an IP68 rating or if all models of the Note 14 series will get the same.
In another Weibo post, he suggests that the upcoming Note models will have improvements in durability and battery life like the iPhone 16 series.
Redmi Note 14 Series
Rumours suggested that the standard Redmi Note 14 will support 45W wired charging, an upgrade from the 33W charging of its predecessor. The Note 40 Pro is expected to pack a 90W charger while the predecessor was launched with 67W charging support.
The Redmi Note 14 is also tipped to sport a 1.5K AMOLED screen and a 50MP main camera instead of the 108MP camera featured on the Redmi Note 13. Moreover, the Note 14 Pro is rumoured to get the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, and the Note 14 Pro+ could feature the Dimensity 7350 SoC. As of now, there is no information regarding the launch timeline of the Note 14 series.
On the other hand, Poco is expected to launch the M7 Pro 5G soon, which is rumoured to be the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 14 5G.
