Redmi Note 17 Pro and Note 17 Pro Max Launched in India: Check Price, Specifications, Offers

Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G in India. The new lineup brings a stronger focus on durability and battery life, while also offering high-refresh-rate OLED displays, upgraded processors and AI-powered features. The Pro Max is also the first Max-branded smartphone in the Redmi Note Pro series.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Series Price, Availability and Offers

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G price in India starts at Rs 36,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs 39,999. It comes in Cloud Blue with a photochromic finish, Purple Vibe and Stealth Black.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is priced at Rs 49,999 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, while the 12GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 55,999. It is available in Secret Sunrise with a photochromic finish, Matcha Green and Stealth Black.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G will go on sale from September 17, followed by the Pro Max on September 23. Both smartphones will be available through mi.com, Amazon India, Xiaomi Retail and offline stores.

Xiaomi is also offering launch benefits, including instant bank discounts. Buyers can additionally get the limited-period Note 1 Care Plan, which includes benefits such as screen protection, battery replacement and warranty coverage.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Series Specs and Features

Both phones feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. The panels also support 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and up to 3,200Hz instantaneous touch sampling.

Durability is another major focus. Both smartphones use Xiaomi's Redmi Titan Structure, reinforced mid-frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. They carry IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings and support underwater mode and Wet Touch Technology 2.0.

The Pro Max is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 with an Adreno 812 GPU, while the standard Pro uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4. Both chipsets are based on a 4nm process. The Pro Max gets up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage, while the Pro offers 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.

Battery capacity reaches 9,000mAh on the Pro, with 67W HyperCharge, and 10,000mAh on the Pro Max with 100W HyperCharge. Both support reverse charging.

For cameras, the Pro features a 50MP OIS main camera + 8MP ultra-wide and a 16MP selfie camera. The Pro Max upgrades to a 50MP OIS main sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide camera and 32MP front camera. It also supports 4K rear and front video recording.

Both phones run Android 16 with HyperOS 3 and are promised six years of security updates. AI features include AI Glare Removal, AI Erase Pro, Google Gemini and Circle to Search.
