Redmi Note 8 2021 Official Teaser Reveals Front Design

The Redmi Note 8 that went official in 2019 was a massive success with global sales of over 25 million units. To commemorate this milestone, the company has announced that it will bring a new device dubbed Redmi Note 8 2021. It was also said that the upcoming smartphone with some visual and hardware tweaks might be limited only to select European markets.

It remains to be confirmed if the Redmi Note 8 2021 will be unveiled in May or June this year. However, it seems like the launch date is not far-fetched as the company continues to release more teasers revealing its features one by one.

Now, the Chinese smartphone maker has released the front design of the Redmi Note 8 2021 via its official Twitter handle. Going by the same, the Redmi Note 8 2021 might flaunt a waterdrop notch at the front to provide room for the selfie camera sensor. Notably, the original Redmi Note 8 also featured the same design with a waterdrop display.

Given that the company is yet to shed light on the rear panel of the smartphone, we need to wait to know if there will be any changes in the rear design or if it will be identical to the original device.

Redmi Note 8 2021 Expected Specs

Recently, the Redmi Note 8 2021 was spotted clearing the Bluetooth SIG and FCC certification databases with the model number M1908C3JGG. The certification databases also claimed that the smartphone might arrive with Bluetooth 5.2 and MIUI 12.5. It appears that the Redmi smartphone in question could be fueled by a 4000mAh battery.

Besides this, there are rumors suggesting that the Redmi Note 8 2021 could arrive with an LCD display with a FHD+ resolution and a fast refresh rate of 120Hz. Under its hood, the device is believed to feature an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset teamed up with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage space.
