Xiaomi's Redmi Note 8 is all set to go for sale today at noon, in India. The handset will be up for sales via Amazon and Mi.com. Other than that, the highlights of this budget smartphone include a quad rear camera setup including a 48MP primary lens, 4,000mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 665 chipset.

On buying the Redmi Note 8 via Amazon, the users will be getting 10% cashback up to Rs. 500 on a minimum purchase of Rs. 2,000 using HDFC debit cards, 5% instant discount using HSBC cashback card, up to Rs. 1,500 instant discount on ICICI credit and debit EMI transactions, and credit up to Rs. 1,00,000 on availing EMI on debit cards.

The handset sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ display and runs Android Pie based on MIUI 10. The device will ship with the latest MIUI 11 between November 13 and November 29. Its quad rear cameras include a 48MP, 8MP, and dual 2MP lens, while it sports a 13MP selfie camera at the front. It is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and also has a face unlock feature.

The smartphone comes with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port, and 4G LTE connectivity. It packs a 4,000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support. The handset will be available for sales in Space Black, Moonlight White, and Neptune Blue color options.
