Redmi Note 8 New Color Variant To Be Available From November 18
Xiaomi has announced that its Redmi Note 8 smartphone will now come in the new "Star Cloud Purple" color option. And, the consumers can avail the new variant from November 18. Besides, the handset is already available in black, blue and white colors. To recall, the device arrived alongside its top version called the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
As far as specs are concerned, the Note 8 sports a 6.3-inch waterdrop notched FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC which ships with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB ROM option.
In terms of optics, the smartphone bears a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP super-wide lens, a 2MP super macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor at the rear. For selfies, it uses a 13MP snapper. It runs Android Pie based on MIUI 10 and supports NFC for connectivity. It is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature.
It is fitted with a 4,000 mAh battery backup that comes with 18W fast charging support via USB Type-C. It is priced at Rs. 9,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, while its top-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM is available from Rs. 12,999.
Whereas, the Redmi Note 8 Pro flaunts a 6.53-inch display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor and comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB ROM. It sports a quad rear camera setup including a 64MP primary camera lens. At the front, it ships with a 20MP sensor. The smartphone is housed with a 4,500 mAh battery. And, it has Bluetooth 5, NFC, and Type-C connectivity options.
The handset is available in Gamma Green, Halo White, Pearl White, and Shadow Black colors. It is available from Rs. 14,999, Rs. 15,999, and Rs. 17,998 for 6GB RAM/64GB ROM, 6GB RAM/128GB ROM and 8GB RAM/128GB ROM options, respectively.
