Design

Xiaomi is clearly aiming to impress with the Redmi Turbo 4's design. The phone features a matte-finished frosted glass back with a bold red stripe running vertically through the center, giving it a distinctive, sporty look. Xiaomi describes the design as "exquisite and neat," emphasizing the slightly curved frame and ergonomic grip, which should make it comfortable for extended use.

The camera module includes a dual-camera setup with red-accented rings around the lenses, adding a unique touch. According to an image shared by prominent tipster Digital Chat Station, the phone will be available in Cloud White, Black, and Blue.

Performance

At its core, the Redmi Turbo 4 is all about delivering exceptional performance, particularly for mobile gaming. The Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset-making its global debut with this device-is designed to handle high-performance tasks while maintaining energy efficiency. Xiaomi has claimed that the Turbo 4 will excel in graphically demanding games like FPS and MOBA titles, offering smooth gameplay with stable frame rates even during long gaming sessions.

With up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, the phone is set to provide ample space and power for multitasking, gaming, and media consumption.

Display and Cameras

The 6.67-inch AMOLED display is another highlight, featuring a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals and sharp image quality.

On the camera front, the Redmi Turbo 4 offers a 50MP main camera with an f/1.5 aperture for impressive low-light performance, complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor for versatile shooting options. On the front, a 20MP camera caters to selfies and video calls.

Build and Battery

Xiaomi hasn't compromised on durability. The Redmi Turbo 4 comes with an IP68 rating, ensuring it can withstand dust and water exposure. Additionally, the device features an optical fingerprint scanner, providing secure and convenient access.

The phone packs a 6,550mAh battery, which is more than enough to power it through a busy day. With 90W fast charging, users can quickly get back to full power, which is particularly useful for those on the go.

Global Prospects and Potential Rebranding

While the Redmi Turbo 4 is launching first in China, it's likely to be rebranded for international markets. Reports suggest that it could debut globally under the Poco X7 Pro name, aligning with Xiaomi's strategy of tailoring devices for different regions.
