Redmi Turbo 5 Launching in India Today: How to Watch the Livestream? Check Specifications and Price Range
The Redmi Turbo 5 is set to launch in India today. Xiaomi first teased the handset's arrival in the country last month, bringing its performance-centric Turbo lineup to Indian shores for the first time.
The Redmi Turbo 5 series was already introduced in China earlier this year, leaving little to the imagination when it comes to the phone's hardware and features. As Xiaomi prepares to officially unveil the device in India, here's a closer look at its expected pricing, launch details, and full specifications.

Redmi Turbo 5 India Launch
The Redmi Turbo 5 is launching in India at 12 pm (IST) today. Following its launch, the handset will be available for purchase in India through Amazon. Those interested in watching the Redmi Turbo 5 launch event live can do so on the company's official YouTube channel.
We have also embedded the livestream link, so you don't miss any of the action. We expect the Redmi Turbo 5 price in India to start from under Rs 40,000, although some reports put it in the sub-45K segment.
Redmi Turbo 5 Specifications
The Redmi Turbo 5 will be powered by the MediaTek 8500-Ultra chipset. Xiaomi says the phone will support up to 24GB RAM, including 12GB virtual RAM expansion depending on the variant. The hardware package also includes LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage, both aimed at faster app loading, multitasking and data access.
On the front, the smartphone features an Adaptive 120Hz Fluid Display with 1.5K resolution. This combination should give users a sharper panel than standard Full HD+ screens while retaining smoother scrolling and gameplay. Adaptive refresh rate support is also important for battery management, as the screen can reduce refresh demand when high frame rates are not needed.
The camera setup includes a 50MP main rear sensor with both optical image stabilisation and electronic image stabilisation. That should help reduce blur in photos and improve steadiness in videos. Xiaomi is pairing it with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone carries a 20MP front camera.
One of the biggest confirmed upgrades is the 7540mAh battery. That capacity is larger than what is usually seen in mainstream performance phones, and it will be paired with 100W HyperCharge wired fast charging. Xiaomi has not yet shared India-specific charging time claims, so those details are expected at the launch event.
Redmi Turbo 5 Cooling and Design
The Redmi Turbo 5 is also expected to feature a 3D ice-loop cooling system with a 5300 mm² vapour chamber cooling area. For a phone pitched at gaming and heavy use, thermal control will matter as much as peak benchmark numbers. Better cooling can help sustain performance during long gaming sessions, navigation, camera use and 5G hotspot activity.
Design teasers show a flat-edge frame and a cleaner rear panel. The dual rear cameras are arranged vertically, without a large rectangular camera island. Red accent rings around the lenses tie in with Xiaomi's motorsport-inspired campaign for the device.
The phone is also expected to come with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Xiaomi will reveal the final India variants, prices, launch offers and sale date on June 16. Until then, the confirmed hardware suggests the Redmi Turbo 5 is being aimed at buyers who prioritise performance, battery life and durability.
