Redmi Turbo 5 Max: What to Expect

In the latest post on Weibo, Xiaomi's sub-brand confirms that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will launch in China later this month. While the exact launch date is yet to be announced, the teaser hints that the handset will be priced around CNY 2,500 (roughly ₹32,260). Redmi is also teasing the device with claims of "superior battery life" and "flagship-level performance".

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max will be a new addition to Redmi's Turbo lineup, which currently includes the standard Turbo and Turbo Pro models. Leaks suggest that the phone will feature a metal frame, a large flat display with rounded corners, and a next-generation MediaTek chipset.

As per reports, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8500, a 4nm processor with an all-big-core CPU design, which is scheduled to debut in China on January 15. Even the lineup could also include the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Max, which is rumored to feature the upcoming Dimensity 9500e chipset. Moreover, both the Redmi Turbo 5 Max and Turbo 5 Pro Max are expected to be rebranded under the Poco X8 series in the global markets.
