JioPhone Prima 2 4G Feature Phone Launched for Just Rs 2799

Reliance Jio has introduced the JioPhone Prima 2 4G in India. This new model boasts enhanced features compared to its predecessor and is priced attractively at Rs. 2799. The launch comes just before Diwali, aiming to please customers despite recent tariff hikes.

The phone is designed for the digital age, offering a comprehensive suite of apps like YouTube, Facebook, UPI Payment, Google Voice Assistant, JioCinema, and JioTV. Additionally, video calls can be made using the JioChat app.

JioPhone Prima 2 4G Specifications

The JioPhone Prima 2 4G features a 2.4-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and a curved design. It runs on a Qualcomm SoC chipset and KAI OS 2.5.3, which supports key applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, JioCinema, JioTV, JioSaavn, JioPay, and JioChat. This allows users to stream content at 4G speeds and make payments via UPI and QR code scanning.

The phone includes a rear camera and a 0.3 MP VGA selfie camera for video calls through the JioChat app. The device comes with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal storage for music and photos. It also includes a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB of additional storage.

The phone has a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio support and can be used in 23 languages including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB 2.0 port.

Equipped with a 2000mAh battery, the JioPhone Prima 2 also features an LED torch and Google Voice Assistant, typically found on smartphones.
