Check the status of your pre-booked JioPhone

If you managed to pre-book the JioPhone, you can check the status of the pre-booking by dialing ‘18008908900'. You need to share your registered mobile number in order to know the status of the JioPhone booking. You can also get to know the status of your JioPhone pre-booking via the MyJio app by clicking on the ‘My Vouchers' tab in the app.

You can register your interest

If you haven't pre-booked a JioPhone, you cannot do it for now. However, you can show your interest by registering for the device. On the Jio website, there is a banner advertisement to register for the phone. You need to click on ‘Register Now' to register your interest by filling up a form that asks for your first name, last name, phone number, email id and pincode. As before, those who want to get their hands on multiple JioPhone units for their business purposes need to provide the company name, number of devices needed, PAN number, etc.

JioPhone specifications

The JioPhone flaunts a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 320 x 240 pixel resolution. The device runs on KAI OS and features a single SIM card slot compatible only with the Jio 4G VoLTE SIM card. Under its hood, there is a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SPRD 9820A/QC8905 processor paired with 512MB RAM and Mali-400 GPU. There is 4GB of default memory capacity that can be expanded further up to 128GB using a microSD card. The imaging aspects comprise of a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front facer as known previously. A 2000mAh Li-Po battery powers the JioPhone from within rendering up to 12 hours of talk time and up to 15 days of standby time. The JioPhone is preloaded with several Jio apps and features the Jio Assistant as well.
