Reliance has yet again launched a new LYF smartphone in India.

Reliance launches LYF C451 4G smartphone at Rs. 4,999

Dubbed as LYF C451, the smartphone has already been listed on the LYF website under Connect series smartphones by Reliance. The listing further reveals that the smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,999 and comes with 1-year warranty. The device is available in White color variant and it should be available in Reliance Digital stores for purchase as well.

Display, Processors, RAM and Storage

The LYF C451 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display with 218 ppi and 2D Asahi Glass protection on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor, which is paired with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU.

The smartphone offers 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card.

Camera

The handset is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and an LED flash. At the front, the device sports a 2-megapixel camera. The camera features include Face detection, Multi-shot, Panorama, Geo tagging, Touch to focus, Red eye detection, Smile detection, Gaze detection, Blink detection.

Battery and Software

The LYF C451 is backed by a 2800 mAh Lithium-ion battery. The company claims that the smartphone will deliver up-to 12.5 hours of talk-time, up to 240 hours of standby time on a 4G network, video playback up to 6 Hours and audio playback up to 45 Hours. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

Other Features

Apart from the above-mentioned features, LYF C451 also offers Dual SIM, 4G/LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Calling, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, MicroUSB 2.0 as connectivity features. Sensors onboard include Accelerometer, Proximity, Ambient Light.

The smartphone also offers features like Motion and Gesture: Flip to Mute, Double Tap to Wake, Slide up to unlock, Slide down to open the camera, Music Player Control gestures, Lock Screen gestures for jump-starting Apps.

The handset measures 139 x 66.5 x 9.8 mm and weighs 165 grams.
