Taiwan-based handset maker HTC is reportedly working on two new Nexus smartphones this year in ties with the search engine giant Google.
As per the report, the upcoming Nexus smartphone is dubbed as Marlin and Sailfish from the Google side, while on the HTC it is codenamed as M1 and S1.
Recently, the image of purported Marlin Nexus smartphone has been surfaced on the Internet running on the latest version -- Android Nougat.
Talking about the previous leaks, HTC Marlin smartphone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 12MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4GB RAM, 3450mAh battery, and 32GB/128GB inbuilt storage.
On the other side, an S1 build.prop file has been surfaced revealing the specifications of the smartphone. The build.prop file confirms some of the specifications that we've encountered so far in previous leaks and rumors.

According to the report, the S1 a.k.a Sailfish is expected to sport a 5-inch to 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood. Further, the so-called Sailfish smartphone is expected to come equipped with biometric security.
