Report - Realme GT7 Pro Will Launch as India’s First Snapdragon 8 Elite Smartphone

The highly anticipated Realme GT7 Pro is set to make its debut in India in mid-November, according to exclusive information from Smartprix. Reliable tipster Yogesh Brar shared with the publication that the Realme GT7 Pro will be the first smartphone in the country to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The GT7 Pro's mid-November launch will give Realme a head start against its competitors, such as the iQOO 13, which is expected to launch on December 3.

Leaked Specifications

The Realme GT7 Pro is expected to sport a 6.7 or 6.8-inch 1.5K micro-quad-curve display from Samsung, with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. This display is likely to deliver sharp visuals and an immersive viewing experience.

Powering the device is a 6,500mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, which should provide rapid recharging times. On the camera front, the GT7 Pro is said to come with a 50 MP Sony IMX906 wide-angle lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP Sony IMX882 periscope lens offering 3x optical zoom-an impressive setup for those who enjoy mobile photography.

For selfies, the device is expected to include a 32 MP front-facing camera, and it will come with IP68/IP69 certification for water and dust resistance. The GT7 Pro will run on Realme UI 6.0, which is based on Android 14.

Competitive Pricing for a Flagship Device

According to the report, the Realme GT7 Pro could be priced between ₹55,000 and ₹60,000, making it one of the more affordable flagship devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This pricing strategy may attract users who want high-end performance without paying a premium typically associated with flagship smartphones.
