REPORT: Samsung Z2 Smartphone Coming on August 11 with TizenOS & Jio 4G

After the grand launch of Galaxy Note 7 in three different places, Samsung is back to basics again with the budget segment device.

As per this report, Samsung is all set to launch its next Tizen Z2 smartphone with Jio 4G preview offer for 90 days.

Two years ago, the South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched its first Tizen-powered smartphone named as Z1 in the Indian market. As per the company Tizen-based phone comes with a faster start-up time, an advanced multitasking capabilities, and a faster Web browsing experience.

Further, the TizenOS comes with distinctive home and application layout for easy access to favorite features and apps."

Moving on, the Samsung Z2 is expected to carry a mid-range specification -- 4.5-inch display, Tizen OS 3.0, 1GB RAM, 2000mAh battery and 4G VoLTE support.

If the information in the rumor mill ends up being valid, this budget device will be announced on August 11th in India along with Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy A9 Pro. The Z2 will also come pre-loaded with Jio Play, Jio Music, Jio Drive, Jio Money and other Jio apps.
