Rs. 320 million worth content sold on Le 1s Eco flash sale

Chinese internet and technology conglomerate LeEco on Thursday set a industry benchmark by selling content worth Rs.320 million worth in a day through the first online flash sale of Le 1s Eco smartphone.

The Rs.9,999 device will come with a one-year free LeEco membership programme worth Rs.4,900 where the users will have access to over 2,000 movies (in 10 languages) and over 100 live TV channels.

The users will also get 5TB cloud personal storage space and over 3.5 million songs in 25 languages which will come live in the third quarter this year, the company said in a statement.

"Le 1s Eco is the first-of-its-kind smartphone that comes bundled with our content ecosystem and will change the way users consume content on the go," Atul Jain, COO (smart electronics business) LeEco India, told IANS.

Le 1s Eco has received good response from users till date, securing 1,00,000 registrations on Flipkart in the first 24 hours recently. The device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM and a mirror-surfaced fingerprint scanner.
