Samsung Cuts Galaxy A06 5G Price to ₹9,899 Ahead of Festive Sales
Samsung has announced a limited-period festive offer for its new Galaxy A06 5G smartphone, bringing the price down to ₹9,899. The offer comes just ahead of India's festive shopping cycle, when brands typically push aggressive pricing to capture first-time smartphone buyers.

Entry-Level 5G With Broader Support
The Galaxy A06 5G is aimed at users upgrading from 4G or feature phones. It supports 12 5G bands along with carrier aggregation, ensuring compatibility with all major Indian operators.
Consumers can also purchase the phone through monthly payments starting at ₹909.
Festive Deal Extras
As part of the offer, Samsung is providing a 25W travel adapter-normally priced at ₹1,399-for ₹299. That pairs with the device's 5000mAh battery and 25W charging support, a useful addition given many budget phones in this segment ship without a charger.
Hardware and Software Commitment
The phone runs on MediaTek's D6300 processor with Samsung's RAM Plus feature, which allows virtual expansion up to 12GB. It features a 6.7-inch HD+ display, a 50MP primary camera with a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front camera. The focus here is on reliable, everyday performance rather than premium hardware.
Samsung has committed to four generations of Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates, which is uncommon in the sub-₹10,000 bracket. The phone also carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, giving it an edge in durability.
Local Features and Security
The A06 5G includes "Voice Focus," designed to improve call clarity in noisy environments-a nod to India's crowded urban settings. On security, Samsung has integrated its Knox Vault system for better data protection.
