Samsung has announced a new A-series smartphone dubbed the Galaxy A06 in India, which went official in global markets last month. Let's take a look at the features, pricing and availability of the latest Samsung Galaxy A06 in the country.
Samsung Galaxy A06 Specifications
The Galaxy A06 has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, which can be a downgrade as entry-level phones also now offer higher refresh rates. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 14 with One UI on top and the Samsung Galaxy A06 is confirmed to receive two years of OS updates and four years of security updates.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. There is a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera and a secondary 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, it opts for an 8MP camera sensor for selfies.
The phone also packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, but you need to buy the charging adapter separately. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C for connectivity. Lastly, the Galaxy A06 measures 167.3 x 77.3 x 8.0mm in dimensions and weighs 196 grams.
Samsung Galaxy A06 Price and Availability in India
The Samsung Galaxy A06 comes with a starting price of Rs 9999 for the 4GB/64GB model and the 4GB/128GB model is priced at Rs 11,499. It is already available from Samsung India eStore, and is expected to go on sale via other e-commerce platforms in the coming days. Moreover, the handset is offered in Light Blue, Black and Golden colours.
