Samsung Galaxy A07 Spotted on Google Play Console with Helio G99, Android 15, and New Design

Samsung might be gearing up to refresh its budget lineup again, and if a new Google Play Console listing is any indication, the Galaxy A07 could be next in line.

The phone hasn’t been officially announced yet, but this early appearance gives us a fair idea of what’s in store.

Samsung Galaxy A07 Spotted on Google Play Console: Check Details

Early Clues from Google Play Console

The Galaxy A07 just showed up on the Google Play Console (spotted by Xpertpick), which usually means a launch isn’t too far away. While Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything yet, the listing includes a device render and some early hardware details.

At a glance, the Galaxy A07 seems to stick to the essentials: a 720 x 1600 screen resolution with a waterdrop-style notch, similar to what we've seen on many budget phones before. So no surprises there—it’s clearly meant to be an affordable, no-frills option.

Helio G99 Inside, 6GB RAM On Board

Under the hood, the A07 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset. It’s a 4G-only processor that’s been fairly common in budget and lower mid-range Android phones over the past year. It’s not meant for high performance or gaming, but it should handle day-to-day tasks just fine.

What’s more notable here is the RAM. The listing mentions 6GB, which is a decent bump for a phone in this price range. Most entry-level devices typically ship with 4GB, so this could help with multitasking and overall responsiveness.

Launching with Android 15 (Yes, Really)

Interestingly, the A07 appears to ship with Android 15 out of the box. That’s a bit surprising considering Samsung’s own foldables, the Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, are already getting Android 16. It’s not uncommon for entry-level phones to lag behind in updates, so this might just be Samsung’s way of pushing Android 15 to its budget phones before handing them Android 16 later down the line.

A New Look for the A-Series?

Design-wise, the A07 seems to borrow some visual cues from Samsung’s newer mid-range models. Instead of individual camera cutouts, there’s a single pill-shaped camera island housing the rear cameras. It’s a small but noticeable shift, especially if you’ve been following Samsung’s A-series for a while.

That said, the listing doesn’t mention camera specs or battery size yet, so there’s still a lot we don’t know. But given the device has shown up on a public developer platform, a formal launch may not be far away.
