Samsung is reportedly gearing up to expand its Galaxy A series with a new budget-friendly smartphone: the Galaxy A26. If the rumors hold true, this upcoming model will retain the core identity of its predecessor, the Galaxy A25, while introducing a few tweaks in design and performance.

With an expected price tag of around $299 in the U.S. (approximately ₹24,800), the Galaxy A26 could strike a balance between affordability and modern features.

Renowned tipster OnLeaks, in collaboration with Android Headlines, has shared renders of the Galaxy A26, offering a glimpse at its potential design. According to the leaks, the phone is expected to feature a flat display with a waterdrop-style notch for the front-facing camera. The bottom bezel appears noticeably thicker than the others, giving the device a distinct look.

On the back, the A26 might sport a vertical camera module housing three cameras alongside an LED flash. While not a drastic departure from the Galaxy A25's design, these changes could offer a slightly refined aesthetic.

Key Features: New Additions and Familiar Choices

One of the standout features of the Galaxy A26 might be the "Key Island" on its right side. This design element, which combines the power and volume buttons in a single cluster for easier access, was previously seen in the Galaxy A16 models. The phone is also expected to feature a plastic back and frame, keeping it lightweight, with a thickness of around 9.7mm.
