Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Goes Official With Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and 6 Years of Updates: Check Specs, Features
Samsung has quietly added a new smartphone to its Galaxy A-series lineup. The Galaxy A27 5G has appeared on Samsung's official website in the Czech Republic, revealing its specifications and confirming the company's latest mid-range offering.
While pricing remains under wraps for now, the listing gives a fairly complete picture of what buyers can expect from the device.

Samsung Is Keeping the Focus on the Basics
The Galaxy A27 5G comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung says the panel can reach up to 800 nits of brightness, which should help with outdoor visibility.
Powering the phone is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with either 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB variants, and users can expand storage further through a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 2TB.
For many buyers in this segment, expandable storage is becoming increasingly rare, making it one of the more notable additions here.
Triple Cameras With OIS
On the back, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A27 5G with a triple-camera setup.
The primary camera uses a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), while the secondary cameras include a 5MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, there's a 12MP front-facing camera.
The phone also supports 4K video recording at 30fps.
While the camera hardware doesn't push into flagship territory, Samsung appears to be sticking with a setup that's familiar across much of its Galaxy A-series lineup.
Six Years of Software Support
One of the more significant announcements is Samsung's software commitment.
The Galaxy A27 5G ships with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 out of the box. Samsung says the phone will receive six years of operating system and security updates, extending support through 2032.
Long-term software support has become an increasingly important selling point in the mid-range smartphone market, particularly for users who tend to keep their devices for several years.
Battery, Durability, and Connectivity
Samsung has packed a 5,000mAh battery inside the Galaxy A27 5G, along with support for 25W wired charging.
The device also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM 5G support, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi ac, and a USB Type-C port.
The phone measures 162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 200 grams.
Price Still Under Wraps
Samsung has listed the Galaxy A27 5G in Blue, Black, Light Pink, and Light Green color options.
The company has yet to announce pricing, but the appearance of the device on Samsung's official website suggests broader availability details may follow soon.
