Samsung Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35 India Pricing Leaked Ahead of Official Announcement

Samsung on Monday (March 11) announced two new A series smartphones - the Galaxy A55 and the Galaxy A35. The brand will be unveiling the India pricing of both handsets on March 14 (tomorrow).

Ahead of the official announcement, the pricing of the Galaxy A55 and the Galaxy A35 has been leaked online. Let's dive into the details.

Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A35 5G Expected Price in India

According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G will start at Rs 39,999 for the base 8GB+128GB storage variant and the 8GB+256GB storage option will cost Rs 42,999. While the high-end 12GB+256GB model of the Galaxy A55 will be priced at Rs 45,999.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G will be available in two storage configurations, starting at Rs 30,999 for the base 8GB+128GB model. The 8GB+256GB variant will come with a price tag of Rs 33,999 in India.

Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A35 5G: Features

The Samsung Galaxy A55 offers premium-grade features including the in-house Exynos 1480 SoC and a 6.6-inch sAMOLED display with Full HD+ (1080 × 2340 pixel) resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone runs Android 14-based One UI 6.1 with Samsung promising to provide four years of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the new Galaxy A55 5G.

For imaging, there is a 50MP OIS primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 5MP macro sensor paired with an LED flash. The device packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W Fast Charging (charging adapter not included in retail box).

On the other hand, the Galaxy A35 5G has the same display and battery as the Galaxy A55 5G. However, Samsung has equipped the Exynos 1380 chip for the Galaxy A35 5G. For cameras, it has a 50MP OIS camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera.

Further, both models come with Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Knox Security, and an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. If the leaked prices are to be believed, the Galaxy A55 5G will compete against the OnePlus 12R which is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and starts at Rs 39,999 in India.

To note, Samsung will announce the prices for both devices during the Samsung Live event scheduled for March 14 at 12 PM IST. Interested buyers can now pre-reserve the handsets by paying Rs 999.
