Samsung Galaxy A56 5G Nears Launch as Support Page Goes Live in India
Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A56 5G, its next mid-range smartphone in the Galaxy A series. While the company has yet to announce an official release date, signs point to an imminent debut. Support pages for the Galaxy A56 5G have gone live on Samsung India and UK websites, confirming its availability in both regions.
The listings (spotted by MySmartPrice) reveal that the device carries the model numbers SM-A566E/DS and SM-A566B/DS, where E corresponds to the Indian variant and B represents the global version. The DS tag indicates that both models will support dual SIM functionality.

Exynos 1580 and 45W Fast Charging Confirmed
Though Samsung hasn't officially detailed the phone's specifications, previous certification listings have provided key insights. The Galaxy A56 5G was spotted on Geekbench, confirming that it will be powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset and come with 8GB of RAM.
The phone also passed FCC and TUV Rheinland certification, which verified support for 45W wired fast charging. Additionally, a MIIT certification suggests the device will be backed by a 4,905mAh battery.
Design Changes and Expected Features
Leaks indicate that the Galaxy A56 5G will introduce some design changes. A leaked render revealed that the phone will feature a pill-shaped camera module housing a triple-camera setup. While details on the camera sensors remain unclear, the design aligns with Samsung's current Galaxy A-series aesthetics.
Samsung is also expected to market the Galaxy A56 5G with the tagline "Awesome Intelligence", though it remains to be seen what AI-powered features the phone will include. One report suggests that design changes may make the phone harder to repair, though this hasn't been confirmed by Samsung.
Launch Timeline and Availability
Reports indicate that the Galaxy A56 5G could launch as early as March in India, with a global release happening around the same time. Given that support pages are already live and multiple certifications have been cleared, Samsung may make an official announcement in the coming weeks.
