Samsung Galaxy A56 and A36 Tipped to Launch in March: What to Expect
Samsung seems to be gearing up for the launch of its latest A-series smartphones, the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36. Following the global debut of the Galaxy S25 series, the South Korean tech giant appears to be sticking to its tradition of releasing A-series devices shortly after its flagship phones.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the new A-series models are expected to hit global markets, including India, by mid-March, with teasers likely rolling out in February.

Galaxy A36
While official details are still under wraps, leaks suggest that the Galaxy A36 will retain Samsung's Key Island design, featuring a flat frame and distinct button placements. The phone is rumored to sport a 6.64-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, delivering vibrant visuals with an integrated fingerprint sensor for added convenience.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A36 is expected to feature either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, paired with a robust 5,000mAh battery and 45W fast charging. On the software side, the phone will likely run Android 15 right out of the box.
For photography, the A36 is expected to include a 12-megapixel front camera for selfies and a 50-megapixel rear camera that promises crisp and detailed photos.
Galaxy A56
The Galaxy A56, which has already made an appearance on China's TENAA certification platform, is shaping up to be a compelling option in the mid-range segment. Leaked details suggest a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring an immersive visual experience.
Samsung's in-house Exynos 1580 chipset is rumored to power the A56, supported by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Like the A36, it is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
The A56 is rumored to feature a triple-camera system, including a 50-megapixel main lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor, making it a versatile choice for photography enthusiasts.
A Familiar Yet Effective Strategy
Samsung's approach of following up its flagship S-series launch with new A-series smartphones has been consistent, targeting a broader audience with budget and mid-range offerings. With both devices rumored to launch by mid-March, the Galaxy A56 and A36 could offer users a mix of premium features and affordable pricing, making them strong contenders in their respective segments.
