Samsung Galaxy A56 Full Specifications Tipped: Launch Could Take Place in March 2025

Samsung is gearing up to unveil two new smartphones in its Galaxy A series. The Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 are expected to make their debut in India and globally sometime next month, although Samsung is yet to confirm details about the two devices.

However, ahead of the launch, tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata) has leaked the full specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A56 5G on X, formerly Twitter. Additionally, the post also shows an image of the upcoming phone, revealing its design.

Roy revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A56 will be powered by the Exynos 1580 SoC, which doesn't come as a surprise as older generations in the line-up have used past versions of this chip (Exynos 1480 on the Galaxy A55 and Exynos 1380 on the Galaxy A54). The tipster also notes that the Galaxy A56 will come with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Moreover, the Galaxy A56 will pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support, although no adapter will be included in the box. Moreover, it will feature a 120Hz FHD+ flat AMOLED display, which will be bigger than the 6.6-inch panel on the Galaxy A55.

For optics, the Galaxy A56 could feature a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro unit. Up front, the Galaxy A56 is expected to opt for a 12MP selfie camera. The tipster claims that the phone will run Android 15 with Samsung offering six years of OS and security upgrades.

The post on X also reveals that the vapour chamber in the Galaxy A56 will be larger compared to its predecessor. Moreover, it will feature a metal frame with even better protection. To recall, the Galaxy A55 features Gorilla Glass Victus+ on the front and unnamed Gorilla Glass 5 on the back.

Despite being larger and more durable, the Galaxy A56 will weigh less than the Galaxy A55. Moreover, it will also feature an IP67 rating for resistance to dust and water.
