Samsung Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, Galaxy A26 Launch in India Confirmed: Check Full Specifications (Expected)

Samsung has officially confirmed the launch of three new Galaxy A series smartphones in India. The three phones include the Samsung Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 as well as the Galaxy A26. Samsung confirmed the launch via a press release.

While Samsung did not reveal any details about the Galaxy A26, Galaxy 36, and A56, specifications about the three devices have already leaked online. As of now, there's no official launch date for the upcoming Galaxy A series in India, although it will likely debut in the first or second week of March.

Samsung Galaxy A Series (2025)

In its release, Samsung noted, "Designed to meet the evolving needs of young consumers, the Galaxy A series smartphones are likely to feature new design, enhanced durability, and advanced security ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.

"Over the years, Samsung has introduced several of its flagship features to the Galaxy A series, helping expand its latest innovations to a wider user base. The launch of the three new Galaxy A series smartphones will likely continue the tradition, giving more choice to Indian consumers."

Samsung Galaxy A56 Specifications (Expected)

The Samsung Galaxy A56 will likely be powered by the Exynos 1580 SoC paired with 8GB of LPPDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is expected to feature a bigger vapour chamber than its predecessor. Moreover, the phone will sport an FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

For optics, the Galaxy A56 is touted to feature a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro unit. Up front, the A56 could opt for a 12MP selfie camera. It is also expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support (No Adapter).

The Galaxy A56 will run Android 15-based OneUI 7.0 with six years of software and security updates. The phone is also expected to feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front, a glass back, metal frame, and an IP67 rating for resistance to dust and water.
