Samsung Galaxy A56 Price in India Confirmed via Amazon: Will Take on the OnePlus 13R, Pixel 8a, OPPO Reno 13

Samsung just dropped three new smartphones in its Galaxy A series globally. The line-up includes the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26. While Samsung is yet to announce the price of the three smartphones in India, a promotional page for the Galaxy A56 on Amazon confirms its pricing.

The Samsung Galaxy A56 was unveiled as the most premium of the three phones, incorporating an Exynos chip, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a triple-camera setup, a large battery with fast charging support, six years of OS updates, and more.

Samsung Galaxy A56 Price in India

The Samsung Galaxy A56 price in India will start from Rs 41,999. However, it is unclear whether the price is inclusive or exclusive of bank discounts. According to previous leaks, the Galaxy A56 was speculated to start from Rs 41,999 in India for the base 8GB/128GB model.

As of now, the prices for the Samsung Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 are unclear, but we expect them to be announced later today or in the coming days. The new Samsung Galaxy A series phones will be available for purchase through Samsung's official website and other major e-commerce platforms and mainline retailers.

Samsung Galaxy A56 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A56 is powered by the Exynos 1580 SoC paired with the AMD Xclipse 540 GPU. The phone comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The Galaxy A56 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O HDR display. The panel boasts a peak brightness of 1,900 nits and an HBM of 1,200 nits.

For optics, the Galaxy A56 features a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP macro unit with an f/2.4 aperture. Up front, there's a 12MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The Galaxy A56 is also equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support, although not adapter is included in the box.

Samsung's Galaxy A56 runs on Android 15 with the OneUI 7.0 skin on top. Samsung offers six years of OS updates and six years of regular security patches with the Galaxy A56. Connectivity options on the Galaxy A56 include Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and more.
