Samsung Galaxy A57 Launching in India Soon As Key Specifications Emerge on Benchmarking Platforms

Samsung is preparing to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup with the Galaxy A57. Recent leaks and benchmark listings have provided insight into the expected features of this device. It is anticipated to feature a powerful new processor, an improved display, and upgraded cameras, offering robust performance and premium features at a reasonable price. Early rumours have also highlighted its design, battery, and potential pricing, giving tech enthusiasts a glimpse of Samsung's forthcoming mid-range offering.

The benchmark results for the Galaxy A57, identified by model number SM-A576B (via Digit India), showcase the new Exynos 1680 chip. This processor is set to replace the Exynos 1580 used in the Galaxy A56. The chip features one high-performance core at 2.91GHz, four mid-range cores at 2.6GHz, and three efficient cores at 1.95GHz. This configuration is expected to balance performance and battery efficiency. The phone achieved scores of 1,311 in single-core and 4,347 in multi-core tests, suggesting enhanced performance. It is also expected to have 12GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy A57 Specifications and Design

Leaks indicate that the Galaxy A57 will feature a glass back protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and an aluminium frame. It might also have an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The front camera might be a 12MP unit with 4K video recording capability.
