    After showing up in several leaks and reports, the metal built Galaxy A8 has been officially announced by the South Korean giant Samsung today.

    The Galaxy A8 smartphone comes with 5.9mm thickness with 158mm length and 77mm width, weighing around 151 grams along with the uni-body design similar to the other A series mobile phones.

    Samsung Galaxy A8 - Key Specifications

    Samsung Galaxy A8, sports a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels with ultra-narrow bezels.

    This device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, with one Cortex-A53 cores working at 1.0 GHz and another ticking at 1.5 GHz along with 2GB RAM under the hood.

    Moving on to the storage capacity, Galaxy A8 comes in two variants including 16GB/32GB of built-in memory, with an expandable option of up to 128GB via microSD card slot. In terms of software, it is shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

    On the imaging factor, this Galaxy A8 flaunts a 16MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and 5MP front facing camera with 120-degree wide angle lens. On top of it, Galaxy A8 houses a finger print sensor for security purpose.
    Moreover, on the connectivity, this device has 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS, while the whole hardware is packed with humongous 3050mAh battery on board. The Samsung Galaxy A8 comes in Black, White and Gold colors.
