The company launched the smartphone in only one variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Now, it has been reported that the company is planning to launch another variant with 256GB storage. Here are the details:

According to the report, a 256GB storage variant has been spotted on TENAA listing. The listing revealed that on November 12 Samsung Galaxy A80 with codename SM-A8050.

Listing revealed that all the specification remains unchanged except the addition of 256GB storage to the smartphone. The report did suggest the existence of 256GB storage variant of Galaxy A80. However, the launch date remains unknown and there is zero information on that.

It has been expected that the higher storage variant will soon make its way to the global market like India. Samsung launched the Galaxy A80 smartphone in July. It comes with a launch price of Rs. 47,990 in India, later it received a price drop of Rs. 8,000.

Samsung Galaxy A80 Specifications

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A80 flaunts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 730G SoC, clubbed with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

On the optical front, the smartphone only offers a triple rear camera setup with the combination of 48MP primary camera + 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera+ 3D depth camera with IR sensor, along with an LED flash. The triple rear camera setup acts like the selfie shooter also, thanks to sliding and rotating mechanism.

The smartphone packs a 3,700 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie and also supports future Android updates. On the connectivity part, the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and a USB Type C port.
