After having launched the 2016 edition of the Galaxy A9 smartphone, Samsung is now reported to be working on a Pro version of the device. It's worth noting that the Galaxy A9 Pro is being exclusively built with an aim to make big in the Chinese market.

As of now, none of the specs of the Galaxy A9 Pro 2016 have emerged. It is expected that the Korean Electronics giant would bump up the specs of the existing smartphone, especially in the chipset department.

Just to recall the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a 6 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC. Besides that the smartphone packs 3GB RAM, 32GB memory, 13MP f/1.9 OIS rear camera, 8MP front camera and a 4000mAh in-built battery.

The only conclusive information available regarding the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) is its model no SM-A9100. It is further stated the firmware for the device is presently under development. Thus there's still some time required for the smartphone to be officially announced.
