Samsung Galaxy A9 with Snapdragon 620, 3GB RAM to launch on December 1
Samsung A9 first got leaked back way back in March and since then it had taken a centre stage of rumours regarding upcoming Samsung phones alongside the Galaxy S7. A new report now suggests that the alleged Galaxy A9 will be released as early as December 1.
Allegedly the Samsung Galaxy A9 was spotted in an Antutu Benchmark listing a week back. The listing apparently revealed a majority of the specifications of the upcoming mid-range device including a 5.5 inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 620 SoC, Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. And the listing used a reference by the new report suggest the same.
As a matter of fact the listing of the Galaxy A9 was spotted on none other than the official site of Samsung Iran. Apart from the details revealed by Antutu the Samsung Iran site further reveal that the alleged device will come a 16MP rear and 5MP front facing camera. It will run on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 and will don the regular set of connectivity features including GPS, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 LE.
Apart from this the Samsung website also reveals a December 1 launch date for the upcoming mid-range device. Considering the fact that the flagship has already cleared the Bluetooth and TENAA certification a December 1 launch date does seem quite believable.
