Samsung Galaxy F05 Budget Smartphone Launched in India: Check Price, Specifications, Availability

The Samsung Galaxy F05 was recently unveiled in India under the radar. The Galaxy F05 arrives as an entry-level smartphone, although judging by its specifications, it appears to be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy M05, which were unveiled earlier this year.

The Samsung Galaxy F05 is a budget 4G smartphone with a tall display, a dual-camera setup, a MediaTek chipset, a large battery with fast charging support, and the latest Android software.

The Samsung Galaxy F05 price in India is set at Rs 9,999 for the sole 4GB/64GB model. Moreover, the handset is offered in a single Twilight Blue colour option. The Samsung Galaxy F05 will be available for purchase starting September 20 via Flipkart.

Samsung Galaxy F05 Specifications

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage that also supports an additional storage expansion of up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy F05 features a 6.7-inch (720 x 1600 pixels) HD+ LCD screen and a 60Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the handset packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. For connectivity, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

For optics, the Samsung Galaxy F05 gets a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor and an LED Flash. Upfront, it has an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 14 OS and is also confirmed to receive two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.
