Samsung Galaxy F06 5G Launching in India at 08:30 pm Today: Will Feature Sub-10K Price Tag

Samsung is gearing up to unveil a new ultra-affordable smartphone later today. The Galaxy F06 will join the ranks of Samsung's budget 5G smartphone line-up. Ahead of the launch, key specifications of the Galaxy F06 5G have already been revealed.

The Samsung Galaxy F06 is launching in India at 08:30 pm (IST) today. Following the launch, the Galaxy F06 5G will be listed for purchase in India through Flipkart, with an official product page already setup on the e-commerce platform.

According to the official Flipkart page, the Samsung Galaxy F06 5G price in India will start from under Rs 10,000. The page lists it at Rs 9,XXX, presumably Rs 9,999 or Rs 9,499. The Galaxy F06 5G will be offered in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet colours in India.

Samsung Galaxy F06 5G Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage that is expandable via a microSD card. Samsung claims that the device scored over 400K points in AnTuTu.

The Galaxy F06 5G will sport a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a peak brightness of 800 nits. For optics, the phone boasts a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the F06 5G will get an 8MP selfie camera. The phone also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support, although no adapter is included in the box.

Samsung has not specified whether the Galaxy F06 5G will run on Android 14 or 15, although the South Korean tech giant has confirmed its flagship-grade software support, including 4 years of OS and 4 years of regular security updates. The Galaxy F06 5G also supports 12 5G bands in India and has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
