Samsung Galaxy F16 5G Launched in India: MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, 90Hz AMOLED Display, 6 Android Updates

Following the availability of the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 in India, Samsung has now launched a new smartphone in the country. The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G debuts as an affordable 5G with segment leading software support, where it will compete with devices like the Realme P3x 5G and Vivo T4x 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G price in India will start from Rs 11,499 including offers. The Galaxy F16 5G will go on sale in India via Flipkart from March 13 at 12 noon IST. The Galaxy F16 5G is offered in Bling Black, Glam Green, and Vibing Blue shades.

The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G is expected to be priced at Rs 13,999 in India for the base 4GB/128GB model, while the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB configurations will cost Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively. More details on pricing will be confirmed tomorrow.

Samsung Galaxy F16 5G Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. The Galaxy F16 5G runs Android 15 with the One UI 7.0 skin on top. Samsung promises six years of OS and security updates with the Galaxy F16 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy F16 5G sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a high brightness of 800 nits. The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support, although no adapter is included in the box.

For optics, the Galaxy F16 5G features a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro unit. Additionally, there's a 13MP selfie camera up front. The Galaxy F16 5G also supports 11 5G bands and all networks in India. The device weighs 191 grams and measures 7.9mm thick.
